Consistency Is Key

Over the past few days, I spoke of the things I’ve done in the past. From websites, to Facebook pages, to podcasts to well, a plethora of things. I’ve mentioned how they have been taken away from me or how I myself have pushed them aside and forgotten about them.

The last part is the toughest pill to swallow. How I have forgotten about them. Not as much forgotten, just lost the drive. As I’ve been attempting lately to “rediscover the satellites” I’ve come to the realization that I was indeed pretty popular at one time. I should have continued but for whatever means I’ve failed. I pushed it away by being non-existent.

Throughout the years I’ve reinvented myself. Numerous times in fact, from here to there, to there to here. I’ve collected quite the archive of internet personalities and different genres of what have you and what have you not.

My old wordpress page, which I had already once attempted to merge the pasts lives of mine, had over a thousand followers. I only now just discovered this. Or at least now have acknowledged it.

My current Facebook page, which is my third incarnation due to being forcibly deleted and banned forever do to non-sensical idiocrasies of the world. Has well over 3,000 friends.

Granted I’ve ran bigger Twitter and Facebook accounts at times, but the drive, it’s gone. It’s been taken and stripped away from me, due to powers outside of me. Due to the world we live in. Due to people being offended by Fraggle Rock.

Ok, maybe they ain’t. But I also have been known as the guy who makes Fraggle Rock memes. Which of course is another incarnation of who I am. I’m a pretty big deal to a niche crowd of people on the Facebook.

Maybe this time I can actually button down and become something big. But then again, what do I have to deliver? Delivering you a blog presented in the form of a 7th grade reading level? Constantly talking about my own personal faults? Sometimes posting pictures of random landscaping?

Maybe.

Or I can just continue the consistency and make you, the reader, become more than just the reader. Make you a fan. Make people buy shirts with my face on it.

Imagine that.

I don’t have to. Because it happened.

Yeah, talk about reinventing myself numerous times. Maybe this time, I should just be myself.

Stay tuned! But until then go ahead and buy a shirt with my face on it. They’re currently on sale!

BUY Don’t Tag Sean Hachey shirts!!
